How Pathway’s Personalized Mentorship Program Can Propel Your Career: Step-by-Step Process for Mentors and Mentees

At Pathway, we believe that mentorship is a crucial ingredient for success in any industry. Our company provides mentorship services to students and young professionals, connecting them with experienced industry experts who can guide and support them in their career journey. Our approach to mentorship is highly personalized and comprehensive, as we take the time to carefully match each mentee with a mentor based on their interests, goals, and background. In this article, we will provide an overview of how Pathway manages our mentors and mentees, and how our unique approach sets us apart in the world of mentorship.

Pathway provides a personalized and comprehensive mentorship program. Our step-by-step process includes mentor onboarding, matching mentees with mentors, and ongoing support for a successful mentorship engagement. 

  1. Create a Calendly account and link your Zoom account. Include the link of your Calendly in the below form.
    1. Visit the article linked here for a step by step on how to create your account.
  2. Sign up through our form linked here.
  3. Schedule your onboarding call through our welcome email.
  4. Within your first week or two you will be matched with your mentee.
  5. Meet with your mentee for the first time. 
  6. After two weeks, we will review your experience – which will result in one of two things:
    1. You will maintain your current mentee
    2. You will be assigned a new mentee
  7. Continue to contribute valuable knowledge to the Pathway family

At Pathway, we offer a personalized mentorship program that connects you with experienced industry experts. We assess your needs and goals, match you with a suitable mentor, and provide ongoing support for a successful mentorship engagement.

  2. Schedule your onboarding call through our welcome email.
    1. Once done with onboarding you will then have access to:
      1. Our Pathway community Slack
      2. Our community Wiki (which contains):
        1. Organization information
        2. Job Postings
        3. Sample Resumes
        4. Sample Interview Questions
        5. Much More
  3. Within the first few weeks, you will be matched with your first mentor.
  4. Once matched with your mentor, you will receive an email. In that email you will receive a Calendly link for your mentor.
  5. Schedule your first meeting with your mentor through that Calendly link. 
  6. After two weeks, we will review your experience – which will result in one of two things:
    1. You will continue to work with your current mentor.
    2. You will be assigned a new mentor.
  7. Continue to gain knowledge and develop individually and professionally.
  8. When you feel ready, become a mentor yourself, and help another mentee get to where you are!
